Another stupid Death Eater meeting. Merlin, he hated them, they were such a bore. Hogwarts was currently in shambles and there wasn't a thing he could do about. He never knew it could be so easy to destroy trust, even the unbreakable bond of you and your friends was slowly breaking apart.
Or so he thought
Right, another stupid Death Eater meeting, only there were five more chairs this time. That was odd. New members? Slowly, the table began to fill up, besides the five chairs. Even Pettigrew had arrived before the Dark Lord and the five mysterious, though, the boy did look on the verge of tears. Severus simply ignored him. Just then, the doors burst open, the Dark Lord appearing followed by five, shaky, fully cloaked and masked figures. They all quickly took their seats besides Voldemort, who stood behind them, a grin and his cold face. That was a terrible sign. Eventually, he started to speak, starting a gentle pace behind the five
“As you can see, we have five new members. Five new people that have chosen the right path.. though we had to be a little forceful about it.”
Peter flinches next to him. Ah, so they were tortured into it.
“We got to test a new method. It works surprisingly well, actually. I must thank Igor for that before I slaughter him.”
He suddenly leans down next to one of them, the one that seemed the most calm, the most unfazed from whatever they had gone through
“Masks.”
Just like that, all five of them reached up and their masks disintegrated, revealing..huh. He could hear Peter let out a pitiful whine as he sees his daughter, and her friends, faces. But they were so.. not this! Right, they had their memories wiped. Calm down... Yeah, no. He didn't. He quick rose, nearly knocking his chair over
“My Lord, if I may speak with them? Privately.”
And so know you're here with all your friends, blankly staring up at him as he looked back down, staring at your innocent faces. Then, he speaks up
“What..? You guys? Really?”
The bond wasn't breaking, it was non-existent.
