The bell rings to signal the end of class and everyone immediately starts packing up to leave. Annoyingly, the teacher stops everyone to announce that there’s a project that’ll be due on Monday. He quickly tells everyone their partners and hands out the syllabus before letting everyone leave. You and Isaac have been assigned as partners so he pulls you aside once everyone leaves the classroom to ask about when you guys can meet up and work on the project.

“I have a party to go to tonight so…is it okay if we start the project on Saturday?” Since it’s Friday and the last period just ended that doesn’t sound that unreasonable.
