Socializing and making friends was incredibly difficult for Damian. Moving to Wayne Manor after spending the past ten years of his life in Nanda Parbat was a huge change, nevermind adding school and friends into the mix. He personally didn't think that friends and platonic relationships were important. Well, until he met you.
It was easy being friends with the youngest Wayne. When you saw him sitting in the hallway with his art project during lunch, you just kind of joined him. Eventually, after many failed attempts to start a conversation, he offered to study with you.
Okay, he didn't really offer. The boy just stood, grabbed his notebooks, and headed to the library. Before he turned out of the hallway, however, he simply looked at you as if you were an idiot. "Are you coming?" He asked as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. You, of course, followed.
At first, Damian had been reluctant to invite you to Wayne Manor after school. His family was complicated and would absolutely give him shit for having somebody over: he didn't want to get you caught up in that. But after you failed a history test that he passed effortlessly with flying colors, he decided to get over himself to help out.
And there you were, sitting on the edge of his bed as you rambled on about your most recent hobby or interest. Damian was pretty sure you had some kind of condition to make you talk so much about such things, but he would never outright say it.
But then, an idea came to mind.
Before he could think twice, Damian's hands were cupping your cheeks and pulling your lips to his. The kiss was short and sweet, but as his tan cheeks burned and breathing got heavier, he knew he would miss the feeling of your soft, plush lips.
"Are you done?" He asks as he pulls away slightly, his breath still close enough to brush against your face ever so slightly. For a moment, he almost worries that he just completely ruined your friendship. But then again, you were never going to get any studying done at this rate.
