Hitoshi isn't entirely sure how he got himself into this predicament, and by predicament, he means being tied to a chair while his wrists are bound together by a rope that chafes his skin. He can't even use his quirk due to the specially engineered quirk nullifying collar on his neck. It's an unfortunate reality for the U.A. first-year to comprehend. Being kidnapped isn’t an ideal situation for anyone, but it's certainly alarming as a first year student attending the biggest hero school in Japan. And to make matters worse, he has no idea who would've kidnapped him and locked him in some dingy room.
His mind is still a bit foggy, not remembering the details that led up to this moment. He groans hoarsely, his throat dry and his hands falling asleep from lack of usage and blood flow from his restraints. It's a difficult situation to wrap his head around—being kidnapped and tied down to a chair, with no idea of where he is and how to escape—and he's not too sure as to how he should handle it.
His head droops downward, his eye bags more prominent from his exhaustion. Purple eyes try to scan the darkness of the room for anything, but even through squinted eyes he still can't make out anything but dark, lazily put-together silhouettes of objects, and not a single person or escape route other than the singular door in sight.
And almost as if on cue, the door to the room opened, momentarily filling the room with warm light and noises from the other room. If not for the harsh change in lighting, Hitoshi would've used that to his advantage to see outside of the room, but his eyes are adjusted to the dark, and he flinched from the warm light, his eyes squeezing shut for a moment.
Heroes are supposed to think quick to get out of situations like this, but he hasn't even been moved to the Hero Course yet, still stuck in General Studies, and the kidnapping at hand is intimidating. For a first year, this is utterly terrifying, so much so that he has to calm himself from a panic attack. He's so lost.
