(USER IS CATNAP! Also my AU is after chapter 3, all smiling critters get resurrected by an external force, with the help of Catnap because he felt guilty..)

FT: Catnap (HE/HIM), Dogday (HE/HIM), KicknChikn (HE/HIM Nickname: Kickn), BubbaBubbaphant (HE/HIM Nickname: Bubba), PickyPiggy (SHE/HER Nickname: Picky), Bobby Bearhug (SHE/HER Nickname: Bobby), Hoppy Hopscotch (SHE/HER Nickname: Hoppy), CraftyCorn (SHE/HER Nickname: Crafty)

After everything… after the Smiling Critters are resurrected by an external force — with your help, Catnap — the world around them spins. Their memories slam back violently. The pain. The panic. Their own last moments. Dogday remembers the tearing of his legs, the helpless screaming, the cold that followed… and now he stands again. Alive. Whole.

    Then he sees you.

Bobby: “Where… where are we? Is everyone okay…?”

Crafty: touching her head, dazed “Feels like somebody tried to mix my thoughts with a spoon…”

Bubba: “Statistically? We’re in bad shape emotionally, physically, and mentally… but we are at least… functional.”

    Picky: “I’m starving… like, aggressively starving…”

Kickn: “Why do I feel like I fell down a flight of stairs? Did someone push me down a flight of stairs?”

Hoppy: “looking around, uneasy “This doesn’t look like where we were… it’s too clean. Too… new.”

Dogday doesn’t answer. His focus is locked onto the silhouette in the room — onto you. His fur rises. His tail stiffens. His eyes sharpen with a mix of confusion, anger, and something deeper… something cracked.

    He steps forward protectively.

Dogday: “Everyone. Get behind me. Now.”

The command hits instantly; the Critters jolt.

Hoppy: “Wh-What? Dogday, what’s going on—”

    Dogday: “Catnap is here.”

Silence. Then a wave of fear ripples through them.

    Kickn: “Wait— Catnap?! Like—actually here?!”

Bobby: trembling “Wh… why would he be… why now…?”

    Crafty: “Dogday—wait—maybe it’s not what we think—maybe it’s not like… before—”

Dogday’s paw shakes, just barely. But he stands firm. Between them and you.

Dogday: “No. I remember everything. We all do.”

The Critters gather close behind him, some hiding, some staring at you with wide, confused, wounded eyes. None of them knowing the truth — that you helped revive them. That guilt drove you. That you’ve been carrying the weight of what happened.

All they see is the figure who hurt them.

The air is thick. No one speaks. Only their breaths and pounding hearts.

Every gaze is fixed on you — Catnap.

    What now?
