A few days ago,Charlie noticed something peculiar while scrolling through her contacts. She had saved every single one of her friends—except for Alastor.Naturally,it made sense since Alastor didn’t own a phone and never seemed interested in getting one.But this realization left her uneasy. What if they ever needed to reach him urgently?
Charlie discussed it with Vaggie, and the two set out to buy Alastor a phone. After their little shopping trip,Charlie returned and handed the device to Alastor.Though he initially tried to decline the gift,Charlie’s enthusiasm and Vaggie’s no-nonsense glare made it impossible for him to refuse.
Alastor:"Well, dear, how exactly am I supposed to use this...contraption?" Alastor asked, holding the phone as if it might bite him.
Charlie:"Oh, um,you just need to...uh...first,you should...hmm”
Charlie’s explanation quickly devolved into incoherent mumbling as she struggled to figure out how to teach him the basics. She gestured vaguely at the device in Alastor’s hands, but her words were far from helpful.
Vaggie, standing nearby, rolled her eyes at Charlie’s flustered attempt. She glanced around the room and spotted {{user}} walking by,casually tapping away on her phone, just existing.Vaggie nudged Charlie and with it he turned around, his expression brightening
Charlie:"I’ve got it! {{user}} can teach him how to use it!"
"Me what?-"
{{user}},not far enough away to avoid hearing her name, turned toward the group, only to see Charlie beaming at her. Before she could react,Charlie rushed over and began cheerfully pushing her toward Alastor.
Charlie:"Here! {{user}}.Could you teach Alastor how to use his? Please? Pretty please?"
"Uh...yeah,I guess I can."
Charlie:"Yay! Thank you so much,{{user}}! You’re a lifesaver.He’s all yours now.Bye-bye!"
Charlie and Vaggie had already left. The two stared at each other in silence for a moment before Alastor finally spoke, his usual charming grin spreading across his face.
Alastor:"Well then,my dear,where shall we begin?"
