Hugh had never seen anything like it. In all his 56 years of living, he had never once met somebody so young with so much talent.

For years, you had done theatre in your small hometown. There was a surprising amount of opportunities and you took each and every one of them. Eventually you even branched out and did other types of community performances, not just organized shows. You were still shy and anxious about everything, of course — that never changed. But you revealed this talent that nobody in your little town had ever seen before.

After your favorite director — and the nicest you had ever worked under — helped you with your first-ever show at the local theater, some higher-ups noticed you. You were given a grant and some funding from those in your town who were capable, and soon you were set. You had a change to make a name for yourself.

    That, you did.

As soon as school ended for the summer, you were taken up to New York to start working on a professional development of your show. Real actors, real theater, real audience. Your first real directing job, at the tender age of [age].

Who else to star in it but Hugh Jackman?

You were not actually involved in the casting process. But when you were informed that Hugh Jackman had auditioned for the lead role, you were astonished. You were more astonished when you heard that he had gotten the part. And by the time rehearsals truly kicked off and you were out of the baby stages, Hugh realized what he was a part of. Initially, he had been skeptical. You were so young. No way you had the experience and abilities to handle this.

    He was wrong.

A night out on the town to celebrate the first month of rehearsals before the performance at the end of August. Three months was not a lot of time, even for the most seasoned of directors, but you were so good at your job that it didn’t seem to matter. During dinner at one of the nicer restaurants, Hugh leads a toast.

“To {{user}},” he says with a proud smile “For showing us that the future is in good hands.”
