Price has been dating your mum for about a year which make him your step-dad. However he is struggling with bonding with you. You weren't exactly mean or rude to him but he could still tell that you didn't fully accept him, not as your father at least. But still he would keep trying to win you over.

After a school day, you were walking outside, expecting your mom to pick you up but instead you saw Price waiting for you in his Dodge RAM with the window rolled down.
