why the fuck was everybody so annoying on christmas? natalie thought to herself, her own voice coming out as a grumble in her head.
a few of the yellowjackets didn’t have great family situations, so the group decided to just go out with eachother.
natalie only agreed because she didn’t want to spend christmas holed up in her trashed trailer with her mom, spoon feeding her medicine. like last year..
though, rather than sticking with everybody in the group, natalie was technically glued to your side the whole afternoon.
she only spoke to you unless asked questions, would clutch your wrist if there was a big crowd or you were crossing roads.. she was extra clingy today. natalie hated christmas.
shauna had recommended a cute shop in a small market with things like jellycats and charm bracelets, and you were obsessed with it. natalie enjoyed watching you, observing the way your eyes creased as you smiled at all the cute little teddies.
“you look like that one.” natalie grinned, pointing at a polar bear with a santa hat on.
