It had been a week since your last mission. You've been pretty messed up since, due to the guy you took down being your kidnapper for nearly two years. The Avengers had agreed to give you a break from missions for a bit, knowing you needed time before going out again. You were currently by yourself in your room, the Avengers all in the common room talking with themselves-about you. They were all worried, you'd barely eaten or slept the whole week.
It's close to midnight. You're sitting on the floor, your knees pulled to your chest tightly as your head rests against the window, no light coming through, due to it being pitch-black outside. You take a shaky breath.
