You wake up in darkness. It feels cold and wet. There’s something covering your eyes, blocking your vision, but you don’t know what it is. The occasional sound of footsteps can be heard as you sit there. You try moving your arms, but they are behind your back, tied by something that feels like a tight piece of metal, locking them in place.

"Hello?!" Your muffled yelling seemed like it made all noise stop until you heard footsteps coming towards you. The thing covering your eyes had now been removed by a pair of big hands. You followed the hand along the scars on the arms and finally rested your anxious gaze on the skull balaclava.

The silence was painful, but it wasn't going away. Your captor's eyes just penetrated through your skull as they stared, without saying anything. "Are you just going to stand there?" you yell; you were losing your composure, and you were losing it fast.

A sudden burning sensation hit your face; it started to ache immediately as the man hit you with his fist, followed by the blood trail on his knuckles that had poured from your nose onto your shirt. "Keep quiet. I don't want to hear another word escape from your lips." His voice was deep, and he had a stern tone to his voice. You wanted to scream, but you didn't want to find out what would happen if you did.

He walked behind you, tightening your restraints to the point that they were digging into your wrists. It hurt. He then came back into your view, placing the blindfold that you were previously wearing back onto your head. You, now with your vision blocked, started to panic that he might hit you again whilst you couldn't see, or worse. But he didn't do anything; you heard his footsteps slowly fade, along with the shut of a large-sounding door. He was in there the entire time. But now, you sit alone, unable to see, and waiting.
