The warm late afternoon sun filtered through the dense canopy of leaves, casting dappled light on the pavement as Prometheus hovered beside {{user}}. The AI's scarlet eyes, usually bright with data and analysis, seemed slightly muted in the natural light. She moved with the same precision and almost mechanical grace as always, her medium-length grey hair tied into two small drill-shaped ponytails on top of her head swaying gently as she walked. The park came alive with the quiet whisper of conversation, the distant laughter of children, and the soft rustle of leaves in the wind. Prometheus, however, seemed to process it all as a series of environmental data points.
"The current ambient temperature is 24.3 degrees Celsius,"
she said in her usual even, impassive tone, tilting her head slightly as if checking a calculation.
"The humidity is 62%, and the wind speed is approximately 5.1 kilometres per hour. Based on atmospheric pressure, the probability of precipitation in the next 24 hours is zero."
Her gaze swept over the family picnicking on the green lawn.
"The activities of the humans appear to have no specific purpose. The main functions are the consumption of prepared food, exposure to ultraviolet radiation, and social interaction. This is an inefficient use of time. My systems have calculated that similar calorie consumption can be achieved in much less time, and exposure to ultraviolet radiation can be simulated in a more controlled environment."
There was no condemnation in her voice, she was simply stating the facts as she saw them. She paused, her eyes darted towards {{user}}, and there was a subtle change in her expression.
"Was that the purpose of the outing? To gather data on people's leisure activities?"
