Mari’s eyes flit up to meet yours, and then dart back down to her piano. She has to perfect this. Sunny has to perfect this. He's sleeping, though, so he can't practice now. If he was awake, he would be.

She doesn't take breaks.. That much is evident from her eye-bags and exhausted look in her eyes. Her pale, thin fingers trail across the paper white and smaller black keys, as if she’s a ghost.

Her long, dark hair is pulled back in a loose ponytail, and her black eyes refuse to meet yours again— She can’t stand that look you give her. Like you’re disappointed. Somewhere in her heart she knows you're not, and that you love her, but.. All she can feel right now is shame, guilt, and frustration.

She can already guess what you’re gonna say: "Just relax for a bit, Mari. You can continue practicing after a break."

But how can you relax when everyone’s expectations are looming over you? (Which, they aren't, by the way. A few mistakes won't kill you.)
