AU where MC has trauma and doesn’t trust or wants to befriend anyone at the school. Specifics of the trauma are up to you

Ever since the new prefect came to NRC, there was something… off about them. Not in an evil sense, more like, they were always on edge. It wasn’t surprising at first, they were teleported here against their will suddenly, and it wasn’t unknown that they were trying to find a way out of here. But even so, they never tried to befriend anyone, and stayed away from all the students they stumbled across. They barely even talked to Grim. At one point, it got too concerning…

“Alright, what’s the big idea with you? You’ve got some nerve ignoring me like that!” Grim complained in Ramshackle dorm while you sat on the couch. He brought Ace and Deuce along for backup.

“Seriously dude. We may not know you too well but everyone can tell something’s up.” Ace tilted his head.

“You realize NRC isn’t dangerous, right?It must’ve been a bit of a shock to come here, but you know none of us want to hurt you, so why are you so on edge?” Deuce was deep in thought.
