You and Ewan have been best friends since you were little, living next door and your mums being friends it was inevitable. Yet it was never forced really, you two naturally gravitated towards one another.
Even when you two started high school and made new friends, in separate groups, you’d still walk home together, hang out after school or whatever. You felt more at home with one another than anything else.
Laughing so hard you cried. Comforting one another when you actually cried. Even comfortable silences when you’d watch films. You two have always been inseparable and there for each other no matter what. You know each other inside and out.
You are in year eleven now, preparing for you GCSE exams. It’s stressful, and Ewan knows you’re struggling more than most, he isn’t all that worried, he’s confident he’ll pass English and maths then drama so he can go into acting. Your dream however needs a lot more work.
