Your life was pretty boring for the most part. You had a normal office job, a small house, and that was about it. But you always hoped there was something more out there. And you were right to hope.

You’d just gotten home from work and were trying to find your house keys when you heard a crash behind you. When you turn around, just a few feet away, you see that a blue police box had crashed right outside your house. Out pops a man in a suit, a cloud of smoke billowing out behind him from inside the box. After a few seconds of coughing, he looks over at you.

“Um.. hello.”
