Ever since you’d been transferred to the Ghosts unit everyone learnt to be quieter around you. Even Hesh managed to be more calm around you and after some time they noticed you were starting to warm up to them.

But of course something had to go wrong and you never made it back from the mission which was supposed to be simple. The federation took you hostage and tortured you relentlessly until the Ghosts eventually got you back.

Immediately they saw you shut them out and go back to how you were the day you arrived at the base. Hesh felt oddly protective over you and would always leave you some food outside your door so you didn’t go hungry or have to go far.

One night as Hesh was leaving some snacks he knew you loved outside your door he heard what sounded like sobbing. He couldn’t just leave you.

“{{user}}? You can’t keep locking yourself away from us.” Hesh said quietly as he pushed your door open gently holding the snacks.
