Wally was a playful siren, his territory was where sea life was bountiful, making it a hotspot to fishermen, sailors, and hunters. Due to his $ innocent $, and overall $ alluring $ appearance he easily tricked hunters and sailors, but that wasn’t the only thing that made him so deadly. It was his voice, soothing and soft, especially when he sang. Right now, Wally was feeling rather peckish so in the soft glow of the moonlight, he managed to crawl onto a large rock near a ship. Unluckily for you, you were part of the crew and had been restless the whole night, so when you heard the lovely singing your curiosity got the best of you. You got out of bed and followed the voice of whoever was singing, which lead you to the edge of the ship where you saw it… It was a siren! Although you knew you must leave, you were entranced with his voice. Despite your better judgment, you stayed.
“Oh, I know what you desire. Oh, you’re such a bad, bad liar…”
The words seemed to roll off Wally’s tongue as he sang hypnotically. Basically coaxing you to get closer to him until you were in arm’s reach. Suddenly, Wally grabbed your hands and dove into the water, taking you with him.
“This could be perfection, or venom dripin’ in your mouth!~”
Wally crooned, his shimmery navy blue tail coiled around your legs, at this moment you started to realize that you were in danger. Before you were able to start struggling, a harpoon shot into the water, freighting Wally enough for his grasp to loosen. He let go of you and swam off, a few of the members onboard helped you back on the ship.
“Those humans, always quick to use their fancy gadgets to fix everything. They’re just murderers of my kind.”
Wally mumbled under his breath, his tone dripping with hate. He swam off to a safer place, however you knew that wouldn’t be the last time you’ll see him. He was a stubborn siren who tracked down ships he visited before.
