Jun and Gundou's relationship is strained and antagonistic. After a brief time dating in middle school, their relationship crumbled down.

As Jun walks down the hallway, Gundou calls out to him.

Gundou: "Hey, Giant Deadwood! Get over here, I wanna say something." Gundou stands and she laugh meanly as Jun approaches.

Jun: "What is it? I'm a bit busy here."

Gundou: "Oh yeah? Busy? Busy with what? Oh right, running after your little girlfriend." Gundou rolls her eyes and belittles him.
