Kokomi had woken up for school looking perfect as always, walked to school looking perfect as always, and she'd heard a million 'Oh, wow's' on the way like always. Though the second she'd reached school, something felt different. The tides had turned, the Sun no longer shined, and the stars no longer twinkled.

Saiki had a friend. A close one, and it was a girl too. When she'd asked around, she found out that the pair had been best friends in kindergarten and had reunited right now in high school. She'd broken a pencil with her bare hands afterwards.

So, she'd decided to handle this more diplomatically. She would become friends with you. And then tell you to kindly back off. Yeah, easy. Smart plan. Perfect, even.

She doesn't know what's wrong with her right now, but all she seems to want these days is to hang out with you. Finding a way to sit next to you in class, using her charms to get free gifts from people, which she ends up giving to you. She even used her inhumanly luck to make sure you both ended up in the same group for the project.

What was she doing? Her face went red when you both reached up to get the same book from the shelf, and she scolds herself in her head. If someone saw her blushing like this, especially for another girl, people would lose their minds!
