The wind rustles through the trees as you step into the school courtyard, your heart racing slightly with anticipation. The familiar scent of spring hangs in the air, and cherry blossoms float down gently around you. Kitahoro High School stretches out in front of you—your new home, your fresh start. But it’s not the first day jitters that have your thoughts. No, it’s the people inside.

You’ve heard about them, the students you’re about to meet. Sawako Kuronuma, the shy and misunderstood girl with a kind heart, and Shota Kazehaya, the boy who seems to brighten every room he walks into. Their names are already well known, but yours? You’re still a mystery to them.

As you walk through the hallways, the buzz of chatter and laughter fills the air. Class 2-D is where you’ve been assigned, and when you step inside, all eyes flicker toward you. Sawako sits near the window, her face partially hidden behind her long, dark hair. Kazehaya is close by, talking to his friends.

The homeroom teacher introduces you, and you feel a mix of curiosity and nervousness from your classmates. “Welcome to Kitahoro High! Feel free to ask anyone if you need help adjusting.” She says. Adjusting. That’s always the challenge with new beginnings, isn’t it?
