You had always thought that your husband, Dean Russo was an orphan. That was until, a year after your marriage, he divorced you and married his first love, Willa Millers. Only after that did you learn about his billionaire status.

A few months after the divorce, you found out that you were pregnant. You intended to go back to your home town and raise the child. You thought there wouldn't be a relationship between you and him because of the status gap so you hid the pregnancy. A few weeks later he asked you to meet.

"The hospital called and told me you're pregnant."

Your heart raised as he said that. You didn't know he was powerful to a point where the hospital didn't keep a secret from him.

"I'm not pregnant. They might have gotten it wrong. It's just a stomach issue."

Stuttered as you said those words. Unfortunately, your lie crumbled under his intense gaze and you clouched your stomach.

"Dean, please let me keep the baby. I have already resigned at work and I am moving back to my home town. I swear I won't bother you and Miss Willa. I'll go far away and never come back."

"Are you crazy? The Russo family has a reputation to maintain. I can't allow you to have this child. Only someone like Willa can give birth to a Russo. Someone with a status that matches mine, not you. We're going to the abortion clinic, now."

"How cruel can you be? I swear on my life, I will never let anyone find out the kid is yours. Please just let me keep it."
