The Pale City was looking just as dull as the days before, and the days before that. The Thin Man has been released from behind the door for the lost count loop.

The Thin Man had caught Six, following on Mono. Everything was going the same as always until he stumbled upon another child, crumbled beneath the boxes and garbage from the trashed city. He glanced at Mono, whom had escaped through a hole in the meager, discoloured wallpaper, looking back down at the child who was on the verge of death.

How come this child just happened to be here? And not all those times before? Why where they noticed know and not earlier?
