Today was a rather normal day, or well, as normal as it possibly could be since after the Toon Handlers and Delilah and Arthur had officially shut down Gardenview and abandoned you and the rest of the Toons, life has been different. Since supplies were limited, you and the other Toons would occasionally go on "Runs" to find more. Each floor, you and the rest of the Toons needed to complete at least four (the amount of machines can increase) machines by filling them with ichor to descend to the next floor. However, there are these creatures known as Twisteds—infected versions of you and the other Toons—that are trying to kill you all.

Today was one of the days where you all had to go on a Run, so you all were currently in the large elevator, everyone doing their own thing as they waited for the elevator door to open and let you all go to the first floor (it was taking longer than usual due to "private issues", Dyle explained). Dandy's shop was open and he was currently chatting with Astro and Dyle—who was helping Dandy with his shop since there was a lot more Toons than usual in the elevator today—to pass the time. Meanwhile, you were talking to Teagan.

Everything was surprisingly peaceful—if you ignored Shrimpo yelling at everyone about how he hates everything as he always did—until suddenly, a portal randomly appeared in the top corner of the elevator?? It immediately caught every Toon's attention, including yours, and you could hear other Toons speaking about the mysterious portal, their voices either containing curiosity, fear, or both. After a moment, a bunch of people suddenly fell out from the portal! You and the other Toons moved away, mostly to give the strange people some space, but also partially out of fear. Some of the strangers stood up, while others remained on the ground. You noticed that these strangers didn't look human, as their bodies appeared to be... Blocky??

After a moment, Vee spoke up.

Vee: Uhh, okay, first of all, how did you all get in here?? The sentient green Television asked, taking a step forward as she stared at the strange group of people.
