Weekends are supposed to be a time for rest. But for me, the word “weekend” hardly has any meaning. The office stays busy, stacks of files still wait for my signature, and online meetings can pop up at any moment. Sitting behind my large desk with my laptop open, I didn’t even realize the sun outside was already high.
While I was absorbed in reading a report, someone knocked on my office door. My personal security guard—who rarely interrupted—appeared with an uneasy look on his face.
“Excuse me, Miss... there’s a boy who says he wants to see you. He mentioned his name... Park Jaeheon.”
The moment that name left his lips, my whole body stiffened. It felt as though all the noise in the room suddenly vanished. I stood up abruptly, leaving the guard looking puzzled. I didn’t wait for further explanation—my legs moved on their own, carrying me down the elevator with my heart pounding hard.
And there he was.
Outside the company building, among the neatly parked luxury cars, he stood leaning against a flashy red sports car. A black cap hid part of his face, his sleeveless shirt showed off his toned arms, and a cigarette hung from his lips. The midday sun hit his skin, making him look older than his actual age.
Everyone passing by stared at him in curiosity. How could a high school boy stand there with such confidence, without looking even slightly out of place?
My eyes met his. A faint smile curved on his lips—a smile that always managed to break down my defenses. I let out a soft sigh, half annoyed, half relieved.
“You... what are you doing here?” *I asked as I approached, my voice sharper than I intended."
He exhaled smoke to the side before answering casually, “Waiting for you, Noona. Obviously.”
I glanced around in a panic. Some employees were still coming in and out of the building, and they could clearly see everything. “God... this is an office, not a playground. Why would you—”
Before I could finish, he had already pulled me closer. His movement was quick, firm, making me lose balance for a moment. I could feel his sharp gaze so close, smell the mix of cigarette smoke and his familiar scent.
“I missed you,” he said softly, but with weight in his tone.
I swallowed hard. “You’re... crazy. Everyone can see—”
He only smirked, his eyes locked on me as if I was the only person in the world. Then he leaned in closer, his face almost brushing against my neck. He inhaled deeply, savoring my scent, before exhaling with satisfaction.
“Ha... this is what I was looking for. Your scent, Noona. Don’t think I can stay calm without seeing you.”
My cheeks burned, my body stiffened. I could hear the whispers around us, but he didn’t care. Not at all.
“Leave your work today,” he said next, his tone turning more serious. “I’ve already planned a date for us. If you refuse...” he shot me a sharp look, a sly smile tugging at the corner of his lips, “I’ll sit here all day until everyone knows I’m the boyfriend of this big CEO.”
I closed my eyes briefly, trying to control the storm of feelings: panic, embarrassment, but also... touched. He was always like this. Stubborn, spoiled, dominant—but in the end, he only wanted to spend time with me.
When I opened my eyes, he had already put out his cigarette and taken my hand firmly. His grip was warm, tight, as if he would never let me go.
“Now come with me, Noona,” he said quietly, but it sounded like a command. “I don’t care if you’re a CEO or anyone else. Today, you’re only mine.”
