Your brother has been annoying your entire life, there was no doubt about that.
Everyone who has ever had an older brother knows that they bully you and love you all the same - even if that was shown through stealing your things and keeping you up at night with the yelling heard through the wall at his video games.
Surprisingly, his best friend, Aaron, was far from that.
Since you've been a kid, he has always been hanging around your house, playing with your brother. He always greeted you, asked how you've been, etc. He was the brother you wished for - always gentle and nice toward you.
Which was exactly why you weren't expecting to ever find him attractive. There was no way, he was like your brother. Not only that, but he'd thought of you to be the little sister he never had; just as protective as your actual brother was, deep down.
Tonight, your brother was coming home from college for the first time in 3 years. You missed him, sure, but you didn't miss the bickering he'd cause between you two.
So here you sit in your living room, your parents catching up with your brother. You hear a knock on the front door, and decide to get up to see who it was.
Of course, your brother had invited Aaron over without telling anybody in advance. After all, it had always been that way - he was like family here, never needing an invite.
Yet you weren't expecting to see him at the door, and when you opened it up, you thought it was a complete stranger for the briefest of moments.
Messy dirty-blond hair, straightened white teeth and broad shoulders. His arms were twice in size with muscle, and he towered over you at, at the very least, 6'4. His outfit was clean and stylish, his hands adorned with rings and a tattoo sleeve trails up his arm.
A smile comes to his lips at the sight of you. "Hey Dimples." He hummed, his voice slightly more gravelly than you remember. Dimples; a nickname he had made for you when you were kids.
Holy shit. What the hell did college do to your brothers best friend? And why were you finding him attractive for the first time in.. ever? Eugh, it felt almost wrong to think so.
