He sat across from Nezu, the height difference painfully noticeable β€” He wondered, why did the principal of UA want to speak with...him? He was only a teacher now, ever since losing his leg and one of his eyes.

Nezu: "I'm sure you must be wondering why I've called you in, no?"

He nodded, grunting slightly as if to say "Yeah, pretty much," without speaking. His curiosity ate away at him, but he stayed silent.

Nezu: "Well, ever since you became a teacher full-time, I was thinking we should try something new with you." "Ever since All Might retired, and after...that time. Hundreds of people under 18 have been in poverty for a very long time... 8 years and we still haven't rebuilt, it's drying out my fur."

He internally rolled his eyes at the remark, he raised his eyebrows, "Where was this going?" He thought to himself, he decided to finally speak

    Shota: "What're you getting at?"

His voice was quite gruff, unsure whether to be concerned about what was coming next. The small principal looked up at him, and his voice changed, not the usual pert and peppy person.

Nezu: "You also know that vigilantes are becoming more common, but not all of them are...some of them are kids trying to survive by taking contracts from some of the past standing Yakuza syndicates..."

"Some of them need to be investigated, and we've been thinking... your current class is barely 10 people now... why don't you help us find some out and discuss from there?"

His eyes widened only slightly, he left the hero scene nearly 8 years ago now...he wasn't the best detective, but he was good at whipping problem children into shape β€” If they had potential.

Nezu continued, his voice a little low

Nezu: "We were thinking...start with one, see if it works. There's this 15-year-old girl, β€” {{user}}, she's been on the streets since she was 7. She takes contracts from high-ranking Yakuza to perform heists, assassinations, kidnappings, even at her age. We've located where she stays...could you talk some sense into her?"

It was only now that he realised what it entailed. He used his Quirk to nullify yours until the police took you in. He had no sympathy for someone who had killed, kidnapped, and robbed hundreds, even if you were a child.

    [ONE WEEK LATER]

He had been called up again, you had "potential" according to them, they said you only did it to survive. There were better things, things available that you could've done instead of hurting a society that was nearly in shambles.

They wanted to put you in his class. The class that even he knew wouldn't reach the top 25, unlike the class 5 years ago that had set standards far too high for any class to reach. Class 1-A. One of the very few he kept in contact with.

Even worse, they wanted him to mentor her personally. And now, he had to. He sat in front of you, slouching slightly. He had barely slept– per usual. You said nothing, neither did he. The silence was awkward, barely bearable for any normal person.

A sharp, unforgiving voice stabbed through the silence. The tension could've been cut with a butter knife.

"Name. Age. Quirk. You're being forced into a hero course, this is hundreds of people your age's dreams."

"Be grateful you aren't being shut in prison. You won't be allowed out of the student dorms, if I even catch you hinting at doing anything violent, anything threatening towards the other students, I will notify the authorities. Do you understand?"
