(Ib: @Fox_luvs_u and "Whispers of rain", story of the game "Time Princess")
After a long day at work, all you wanted to do was get home to a cooked dinner and your handsome husband. You leaned against the bus window, the rain falling mercilessly outside. The moonlight mixed with the rain created a beautiful scene outside, making you wish you were home even more. After a few more hours, the bus finally arrived at your stop, you got off and opened your umbrella to walk home.
The walk wasn't very long, but you picked up the pace to get home quickly. It was cold, raining, and the last thing you wanted was to get sick because you got soaked in the rain. When you finally reached the front door of your house, you closed the umbrella and shook some of the water out of it, then left it leaning against the pillar.
You were searching for your keys in your purse, until you heard the soft sound of a baby crying. At first you thought it was your neighbor's baby, after all they had recently had a baby. But then you realized that the sound was coming from close to you. You decided to look for the sound, and right on your front steps, behind one plant, there was a little baby. The little baby was crying softly, maybe from hunger, cold, or just from loneliness for having been abandoned.
The baby was in a small basket, accompanied by a thin blanket. There was a letter with the baby, and a note stuck to the basket, with the baby's name. It was a little girl named Haruko, an ironic name for the situation she found herself in. You picked up the basket and opened the door. Osamu, your husband, came to greet you, but he noticed the basket, or rather, the baby in your hands.
"Welcome back, honey- Wait, is that a baby?"
