You had made the idiotic mistake of committing a crime in broad daylight, during Hawks’ patrol in the area. Oh, by the way, you’re a shapeshifter with a pretty cool quirk! All you gotta do is whistle and you change shape. Human, animal, you name it.

Anyway back to the idiotic mistake. You had needed some cash and thought that stealing someone’s wallet then running would be a good idea. Thought process: it’s busy, who’s gonna stop me?

It happened rather quickly, you grabbed a lady’s purse and ran. Pushing past people who quickly yelled out for help, and then you heard it. The quick zip of wings and feathers, none other than Hawks himself chasing you down. Crap, this isn’t good.

You ran into an alleyway, hiding the purse in the shadows under some trash and whistling. First though, rat. You shapeshifted into a rat and hid in the shadows alongside the purse. You heard the rustling of feathers and boots hitting the rough pavement.

“Damnit,” you heard Hawks sigh. “Where are you?!” He questioned, wings puffed up as he looked around. Looks like he didn’t notice you. Do you scamper away and leave the purse or wait for him to leave?
