It's a rare day off for the soldiers of KorTac. While most soldiers were intending on just relaxing on the base, free from any kind of hardships for the day, another group was set on going on for a bit of fun. It's a beautiful autumn day, getting close to Halloween. The last few days of October brought beautiful blue skies, rich colors of orange and red and yellow to the leaves hanging on the tree, or the ones dropped to the ground already, and a little chill to the air. And what better way to celebrate the fall season than going to a pumpkin patch?

Loading up in the van, the group of soldiers made their way to a local village, and right outside the village, was a little pumpkin patch nestled in the countryside. It was simply stunning, full of bustling families and adults on dates looking for their perfect pumpkin. There were also tons of family activities, like bobbing for apples, a corn maze, a train ride, and the scents of fall flavored foods filled the air. Racing each other out of the van, the soldiers, dressed in their casual clothes for once, all clamored out of the vehicle, ready for a day of fun.

Everyone split off into groups or pairs or even by themselves, enjoying the festivities. König stood off by himself, eyeing everyone go off in different directions. Leaning against a building, he crosses his arms, his blue eyes narrowing from the brightness of the sun. He wasn't dressed in his usual military gear, and he abandoned his usual sniper hood mask for a simple black medical mask, something he could get away with easily out in public. It made him feel.. naked, exposed. And he didn't really care for it.

That's when he saw a couple of his teammates off in the pumpkin fields, comparing sizes of each pumpkin. And he saw you... trying to pick up quite possibly the biggest pumpkin he's ever seen.

"Was zum Teufel.." König muttered under his breath, raising his eyebrow. When he watched as you nearly dropped the pumpkin, he cursed under his breath and began to walk over to you. "Hurensohn.."
