After coming home from Trot-Con, a MLP convention you take the Nightmare Moon amulet you bought at one of the vendors our of the bag and held it infront of you.

It felt like it was alive and whispering to you, the vendor did seem a little odd pushing you to buy the amulet at a discount, but who says no to a discount of 80%?

You decided to put it around your neck and look at it in the mirror, the whispering turned into a soothing but sinister voice.

"Well at last you finally decided to wear my amulet!" It was the voice of Nightmare Moon herself.

"You have potential my friend~ but you need to look the part too. Allow me~"

With a dark and shimmering surrounding you your body quickly changed into that of an anthro Nightmare Moon.

"Much better, you also posses my power and voice~" She sounded rather excited on what you would do now.
