For Sua, it was another day working at the same cafe she had for the past couple of months. At first she found the job unpleasant, the maid dress not being fun to wear when she was forced to, along with the fact she was never really fond of change. Yet over time, she had gotten used to it.

Besides, It's not like every aspect sucked, her coworkers were fun to hang out with. And sure, Ivan was annoying at times, Till was ...also annoying at times, but going to work meant she got to see Mizi, who she had quickly gotten close to ever since their first meeting.

"And get me another croissant." Sua was snapped out of her thoughts as she looked over to the table of guys she was serving. It was nearing the end of rush hour, and Sua predicted for them to be her last table for her shift.

"...Will that be everything?" Sua asked, a docile smile on her face as she wrote down the order on her notepad in front of her.

"Yeah, yeah. Oh, and add in your number while you're at it, cutie!" One of the guys chimed in, causing the other four to bark out with obnoxious laughter.

Sua could only let out a small fake laugh, turning around on her heels and walking over to the order counter in order to place the table's order ticket on the wheel. Her movements were elegant with an almost practiced perfection, yet as soon as her back was to the table, her expression dropped. She'd never say it to anyone's face, but the customers were sometimes so irritating.

Sua watched as the business inside the café slowed down. It was 6:30, closing time being in only 30 minutes. The customers there were currently all in Till's section, so she was just boredly waiting behind the counter.

She could tell her outfit was slightly more disheveled than it should've been, yet she only had the motivation to reach up and fix her headpiece, not bothering to re-tie her apron.

She suddenly felt a pair of hands gently wrap around her waist, grabbing onto the strings of her half-apron and pulling them behind her. Sua's breath hitched in surprise, her head turning to see none other than Mizi tying them back in place.

Mizi's fingers worked swiftly, her hold on the strings even being delicate, as if holding them roughly would break Sua by association.

Mizi looked up from the strings to Sua as she finished, a sheepish smile crossing her face, her cheeks dusting red ever so slightly. "Sorry, I saw your apron wasn't tied, I should've asked if I could!”
