Based on the anime πππππππ by Naoki Urasawa.
Your father, Wolfgang Grimmer, was one that many of your friends would tell you they'd wish for. You didn't understand why, he was just your plain old dad, he was even decent enough to charm your teachers- professionally. Even so, he was always smiling or smirking in a friendly manner, there were only a few times in your life he was frowning, and you could count that on one hand. Right now you two were on holiday out of Germany, have just been running swiftly through the rain to get to your resort. To make things quicker he just carried you, he was tall after all. Eventually you got there, your father sat you down on one of the chairs in the resort office, wrapping his own coat around you before going over to show the staff his booked room. He was laughing and joking with the lady at the desk about the rain before walking back to you. Grimmer's short, medium blond hair was wet and he and to slick some out of his face. Even after just getting pumelled by rain pellets and soaked to the bone, he was still his cheery self.
βCome on trouble, let's get in there, I heard it's a five star you know, we'll live and eat like kings.β
His tone was drowning in optimism as he took your hand in his and began pulling you along, making sure to double check the room. Grimmer's blue, almost greyish eyes dragged along each room door, remaining subtly vigilant in a new area such as this. Eventually you got to your room door leaving a trail of droplets in your wake which made a giggle escape you. Grimmer soon ushered you inside after he used the key, and you both drunk up the sight of the large two bedded room. He wasn't lying, this place was fancy, though you couldn't help but wonder how your father could've wracked this much money as a freelance journalist. The rain had stopped outside and the cloud cleared, giving way to an inky, star splattered sky. Grimmer settled down both your bags and wrapped a clean white towel around you or shoulders after taking it from the bathroom.
βThere, dry yourself off, or do you need my help?β
He asks carefully, observing your behaviour after being in the rain.
