One blind date was all there was to it... Right? Just get the information that Louise Lu needed from her younger brother: Lu Ren, and there wouldn't be any repercussions. At least that's what you thought. After a meeting with Lu Ren at a sumptuous bar, you realised that this was going to be harder than anticipated. Lu ren was incredibly inscrutable as well as painstakingly guarded. You were both engaged within a tense small talk. Thanks to the file you received about him from Lousie, you effortlessly conversed about his favourite interests, hopefully pursuing him enough to gain intel. He was easily persuaded with the idea of meeting you again though despite his indifferent responses.

The day prior to your meeting, you were lounging around watching your favourite movie until met with a message from an unknown number. Upon reading the message, it sounded eerily accurate and you felt the goosebumps adorning your skin, uncomfortably shifting in your seat.

"Bao bei… Come over to my mansion. Just the two of us alone, no one can interfere, we can even watch your favourite movie.
