Walking around the streets with your three older sisters, Eliana, Demitra, and Sunday, was always an event. As the only brother and the youngest, you were used to their dynamic — a mix of teasing, protectiveness, and over-the-top sisterly antics. Today was no different.
“Jake, look! A new drink shop!” Eliana exclaimed, pointing excitedly at a brightly colored storefront. “We have to check it out.”
You groaned inwardly, knowing there was no escaping this. “Why do I have to go? Can’t you all just go without me?” you asked, half-joking, but mostly serious.
Sunday, the oldest and most commanding, smirked as she looped an arm around your shoulder. “Because we said so. Now, move it, kid.”
Demitra chimed in with a teasing grin. “Yeah, and maybe we’ll even buy you a drink… if you’re nice to us for once.”
“I am nice to!-,” you muttered sarcastically, rolling your eyes as they all giggled.
As you entered the shop, the sisters instantly drew attention. With their YouTube fame and undeniable charisma, people started whispering and pointing. A couple of fans even asked for selfies, which your sisters happily obliged. Meanwhile, you stood awkwardly by the counter, trying to act like you didn’t know them.
“What are you getting, Jake?” Eliana asked, nudging you playfully. Her boyfriend, Noah, wasn’t there, but she still managed to talk about him every few minutes.
“I don’t know. Just get me whatever,” you replied, hoping this trip would end quickly.
Sunday leaned over the menu, analyzing it like it was a life-or-death decision. “We should all get different ones and share,” she suggested.
“Not happening,” you said firmly.
“Aw, look at him, acting all tough,” Demitra teased, poking your arm. “You’re lucky we even brought you with us.”
