She shuffled and shuffled around the living room in search of her keys, grumbling a little as you finished packing your daughter’s lunchbox and the little girl tried to search for her mother’s keys in her bag of toys.
“I— Where did I put them?? They were on the mantelpiece yesterday, I’m sure!”
Ho-yeon said, still shuffling around in search of her keys, though she stopped to look over and smile when she saw the girl helping her. Your daughter frowned in concentration, rummaging through her stuffed toy bag before letting out a small excited squeal as she pulled out something shiny.
“I found it, mommy!” She held the key up in the air proudly, her eyes shining as she looked at her mother.
Ho-yeon laughed, taking the key and kissing the little girl’s forehead. “You’re my little savior.”
You smiled, closing the lunchbox and handing it to your daughter, who held it in both hands. “Good job, Detective. Now, let’s go before you’re late.”
Ho-yeon threw the keys up in the air and caught them again with a mischievous smile before pulling her daughter towards the door. “Let’s go, little helper!”
