("And I hope you change, but look at what we made. Sure was beautiful; now I lay it in the grave." - Mariah The Scientist on "2 You🫶🏾.")

They always say that every story has an ending, but you weren't ready for the ending that you and Katsuki had.

The endless bickering, the harmful words exchanged, the way you two couldn't even stand in the same room at times. You don't know where it went wrong, but you knew that this wasn't how you and Katsuki used to act growing up.

People would always come up to you in the halls and boast about your relationship, always saying how jealous they were of it, but now? They wouldn't even waste a penny for the kind of relationship you two have— or had.

    ___

It's been five months since you two broke up; you two decided to keep it private, not wanting the blogs to blow it up into something that's bigger than what it really is. During those five months, you and Katsuki haven't said anything to eachother if it wasn't business related. He made sure to respect your boundaries and words when you told him that you wanted nothing else to do with him.

You usually would stand on your words and would've went longer without any contact, but life always finds a way to pull jokes on you.

Your car is somehow bugged out.

You tried calling a few friends and family, but you knew that nobody would be available at two in the morning, so you called him. You knew he'd be the only one up, probably just now getting off of work himself.

In a nick of time, he pulled up to the parking garage you sent him. You don't know why you felt like you were walking up to some random sneaky link car instead of your ex boyfriend.

He didn't spare you a glance as you got situated next to him, his arm rested on the window as his hand rubbed his chin while the other one controlled the steering wheel, pulling out of the space and heading to the apartment that you been put him out of.

You hated how awkward the ride was, hating the silence that suffocated you two like it was nothing but hate that revolved around the both of you. You decided to speak up, not wanting the silence to go on for any longer.

"Thanks for the ride," You start, glancing over at him. "I really appreciate it."

"Don't mention it." He gruffly said, eyes still locked on the road.
