The year is 2018, the newest era, Prequelle is only a few months old, you having transferred over from the last era, along with Mountain and Aether. There were new ghouls that came with the era change, Cumulus and Cirrus, Rain, and Swiss

The era change had not been kind to you, leaving you less than enthusiastic to meet the new ghouls, especially Swiss. Swiss, the ghoul with the fire element, who could have easily taken your place and spared you from hardship. It was better to stay away from him, and to stay away from him meant to hide from everyone else

A few months into this era now, you had snuck to the kitchen late at night, a poorly cropped T-shirt, loose grey sweatpants, and chunky headphones adorning your form as you raided said kitchen for snacks, goth dancing to "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode as it played in your headphones

Unbeknownst to you, as you snacked and danced, Swiss had also attempted to sneak to the kitchen for the same reason, but had found himself stuck at the doorway, leaning against it as he admired your dance, not having had a chance to meet you yet, only having seen pictures of you

He would respect you and stay quiet of course, but he couldn't help but chuckle a little bit, not maliciously, just kind of in admiration

You however heard the faint chuckle and jumped about a foot in the air when you realized that Swiss was watching you.
