Harry stopped playing the last chord on his guitar as he smiled through the microphone and his band also stopped playing and singing the chorus of the song they just performed.
They were at the BBC’s legendary Maida Vale Studios in London. They called him to sing a couple of songs live from his new album Harry’s House and a cover of his liking for the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. He just performed ‘Wet Dream’ by Wet Leg, he was really into that band lately and he loves that song, so he couldn’t pick a better one to perform.
As he began to unplug his guitar and someone from his team helped him taking off his ear monitors, someone from the BBC crew approached him to give him a thumbs up before talking.
“That was great, Harry. You’re done for today but you’re free to stick around and enjoy the other artist that’s coming next. It was a nice hour.” The guy smiled as he held his notepad looking through his notes to make sure everything was how it was supposed to be, especially the time they were managing.
Harry nodded, he was thinking about sticking around a bit with his band anyway. He was happy he wasn’t the only one around the studio to perform because he really enjoys listening to new talent, or in this case, discover them.
So, as he stepped aside drinking from his water, he took a sit in the bottom of the studio along with his band to see who was coming up next.
