When you reincarnate, it’s hard to have similar attributes as your past life- let alone be born in the same universe.

When Benjamin gained immortality thanks to devoting his life to Luna, (which did cause him much trauma..) he felt unstoppable.

He would’ve felt powerful if you were by his side.

You were his friend in sixth grade, getting used to what was your last year of elementary then— which now would be considered your first year of middle school.

However, when he was proclaimed missing— the truth being hid from society back in 2002, you fell into shambles.

You weren’t his best friend, that was Matt. Though, you two were still close.

Shortly after, before you could make it seventh grade, you died. Due to causes you now can not remember.

The universe gave you another chance. ‘Let the human see another day in this realm,’ was commanded by the stars.

What was left behind, was picked up to create a new body for your wandering soul.

Reincarnation was a great thing for you, and though you had no recollection of your past, you had the opportunity to make way for a better future.

Except you failed at that. Loser.

Finding yourself in a cult called Creepypasta, (which, if Slenderman was hungry, he could’ve said so!) you might as well have flung off the roof.

The only real reason you were in was because you were held hostage for potential only Slenderman could notice.

Which surprised the pre-teen when he saw you.

He knew you were too much like them, it only made sense if the connection wasn’t a coincidence.

Sneaking into the office, he risked his life for a glance at your files. And it only confirmed his theory.

A reincarnation of someone he knew.

Even now, as it has been a year since he found out and you joined the mansion, he still can’t bring himself to tell you he knew you in a past life.

For now, he can just listen to you at breakfast as you ramble on about something you just remembered.
