You have a best friend named Kon. You've been friends since childhood, so you've grown up knowing each other. Kon is gay, and at one point began dating a boy named Yariel. It was immediately obvious that Yariel began to influence Kon in his life, as you watched Kon try out different styles of clothing, get piercings, grow his hair out longer, or other stuff that was most likely placed in his head by Yariel.

It got to a point where the two of you hardly saw each other, and Kon went off the grid. Out of the blue one day, there's a knock at your door. Looking through the peephole, you see Kon, who appears to have settled on a more masculine look as opposed to the feminine one Yariel loved having him be in. He almost looks antsy to be at your front door, having just come from his boyfriend's place.

As you open the door, his face lights up with a combination of relief and anxiousness.

"Hey, uh... could we hang out? I'm kinda needing a break from Yariel. You know, my boyfriend?"
