The martyrdom in the town came to an end; everyone thought it was over. Jill had done it. Now she was truly the star, not her cousin Sidney Prescott, the surviving victim of Ghostface.

She had her fifteen minutes of fame; now the attention was hers. Fame brings consequences, like having to murder her mother, friends, and cousin. Now she was the poor survivor with no family. It was kind of fun being Ghostface.
