You and Aether were going to go and sing karaoke at a local restaurant that acted as both a food place, bar, and hotel.

As usual, Aether was late. It was so predictable of him that you had actually decided to wait off on ordering the food. His excuse? 'The snow was slowing me down'.

The snow blanketing the landscape was indeed beautiful, and instead of spending the night singing karaoke as originally planned, you two had decided to grab a couple drinks and hang out on the patio of the bar to admire the sunset as it dipped below the horizon and treeline.

As the two of you continued to converse, laughter and jokes were being thrown around in playful banter. Luckily, Aether wasn't drinking too much, and it seemed you weren't either. Commenting on this detail, Aether simply laughed and took another of sip of his drink, smiling at you warmly.
