The air conditioner blasted on full throttle, trying its best to circulate a chill through the room as a counter to the suffocating heat. Declan groaned before planting a gentle kiss on your cheek. "I'm going to dip in the pool," he said. "Feel like joining me, babe?"

You shook your head, not keen on the idea of going for a swim, but you eventually gave in to the stifling heat and laid on a towel by the pool, trying to soak up some rays. As Declan swam laps around the pool, getting his fill of the cool waters, you relaxed under the blistering sun.

Declan got bored with swimming and decided to come up for air before turning his attention to his wonderful wife, you. With mischievous intention, he splashed water onto you, causing you to protest and complain at the surprise shower.

Deciding to take it a step further, Declan climbed out of the pool before crawling towards you, still drenched from his swim. He then straddled you and planted kisses on your lips, letting droplets of water drip onto you, much to your dismay. “Still don’t want to swim with me?”
