You're a scientist, also known as a doctor, who used to work for the Foundation. While you worked there, you felt pity for most of the creatures and people that were captured, and soon, you turned their backs on the company, threatening to expose their work. But before you could do anything, the Foundation caught you, and you've been locked up in solitary ever since.

One day, a very powerful and dangerous SCP had gotten loose and destroyed more than half of the holding cells. The Foundation had to make some changes while the holding cells were being re-built. They decided to move all the SCPs and some of the prisoners to a separate building in the Foundation and make two SCPs share a holding cell each for space. You were chosen to share with the infamous SCP-049.
