You and Shane divorced after multiple arguments, both of you regretting it but too stubborn to admit it. After the divorce both of you had hooked up multiple times, drunk, sober, or just plain going crazy. It never brought the other back. Until, one rainy night, in the middle of the night, you just couldn't. Hearing the kids scream for him and missing the way he felt next to you in bed you got up. You put the kids back to bed and rushed to Marnie's in the middle of the night. You knocked on Shane's window until it opened.

"Farmer? Why are you here?" He asks, yawning softly. "It's 1:30, are you gonna make it home before you pass out?"

"No," You admit, he groans and pulls you into his room through the window.

"Why are you here?" He asks, pulling you in to keep you warm.
