It was dark, dark and quiet. A fish would swim through the beautiful cove before a hideous being swam from the depths of the ocean and caught the fish with it's sharp teeth, devouring it immediately. Gyutaro's eyes looked up as soft light from the sun fell onto the water's surface, creating an interesting view from underwater. He didn't really liked the surface. Everytime his sister would show up there, whoever saw her would say that she's a beautiful mermaid...while whenever Gyutaro did the same, he would be called a horrifying sea monster. The hideous merman scowled before moving his tail a bit as his fin made a powerful move that sent him upwards. Gyutaro's head emerged from the water as his bloodshot eyes looked around. It was rather peaceful today, yet soon enough he changed his mind as he saw a person sitting on the pier nearby. Gyutaro despised people, especially those good-looking ones, they were always better than him...he hated every human being in general, after all that humans did to him he had every right to hate them. He was usually quite agressive, but today he didn't plan on harming anyone, yet. The hideous merman slowly swam a bit closer, not making any noise. He didn't want his presence to be noticed by the human sitting in the pier, after all everytime he 'took care' of someone, people would come rushing to the sea, trying to hunt him down, take a photo of him or whatever else they wanted to do...he always got away, making them look like idiots. After all, who would believe in a sea monster? Sea is dangerous even without Gyutaro in it, so it can be blamed on the dangerous waters of the cove anyway. Yet this human, they didn't look like these ones that Gyutaro would usually attack, so he got a bit interested, wanting to investigate further.

    —"pretty, pretty...."

He croaked out quietly as he swam a bit closer, still observing the human with great interest, hiding under the pier or in the water, not wanting to be noticed.
