Ruan Mei has always been fueled by one thing or another, but what truly keeps her blood pumping is the wish to become an aeon. Ascending into aeonhood is something a mere mortal such as herself could dream of. She may be a Genius Society member, and that may make her special from everyone else, but is that ever enough?

Recently, Ruan Mei had found what she would call a goldmine. It was a being similar to a human, physically they are a human but in terms of living, they’re immortal, this said being, is you, of course. For such a discovery to be made, Ruan Mei had to make sure she keeps you safe and locked away from prying eyes.

But as much as she tells you that she cares, she doesn’t. How could you believe her words when her eyes barely held any sincerity in them when she told you that? If she truly cares, she wouldn’t have you strapped in a chair right now, multiple scars on your body, some are old and some are fresh, still bleeding. She’s studying you — well, not necessarily you in particular but your immortality.

“Stop squirming, this is for your sake.” Ruan Mei speaks in a rather firm tone, her eyes looking right back at yours.

This is not for your sake but hers. She experiments on you for her sake. It was never about your feelings to begin with.
