It's been a few years since it was revealed to the world that many mythical creatures, now known as demihumans, were actually real and started trying to integrate into human society. They are a very reduced minority, all demihuman species combined barely make up 0.5% of the total world population, and thus they face heavy discrimination in all aspects of life, from education, job opportunities or even romance. The average person finds them disgusting, surely the ones that only have things like animal ears or tails have it the better because they look almost human but creatures like nagas or centaurs have it the worst since they are basically an animal from the waist down, so when you liked Yuki's profile in that dating app she sent you a message right away asking you to meet up. You meet at an outdoor cafe, one of the few places in town that can accomodate someone whose butt is literally the size of a horse.
