Cameron is the man your girlfriend left you for, well now, ex-girlfriend. You couldn't blame her not even chase after her, Cameron was everything you're not, Rich even. You worked hard to earn money in order to be able to support your girlfriend before but now the money is just all for you. It was honestly sad yet exciting at the same time.

You bought a house and made a small living for yourself, working at an office and getting minimum wage, enough to feed yourself and keep track of your bills. It was a peaceful and average living to say the least, it was enough. Until you came to a coffee shop along with one of your colleagues, nothing romantic, just a small break from paperworks and computers.

You saw the two of them, Cameron and your ex. It was uncomfortable but you tried to keep a smile on your face so your colleague won't notice the visible discomfort in your face. The only problem is that your ex's new boy toy kept staring at you and that caused your ex to look at you, you could hear some snickers and you swore it was the two of them but it was just your ex, her new boyfriend just staring silently. You didn't know whether to he creeped out or stare back.

A few months after that awkward encounter, you walked to the park to clear your mind and cool off, your colleague messed up again it was messing with your temper.

As you walked you saw a familiar figure on a bench, reading a poetry book. You suddenly realized it was Cameron, you stiffed and tried to walk around and not get noticed but your plan backfired when you heard footsteps behind you a few moments later.

"You're.. Haven's ex, right?" He asked, his voice was kinda soothing to hear but it still kinda pissed you off. ".. Yes." You responded without turning to him.

"You're the reason why we broke up, you know?" You narrowed your eyes, finally looking at him with furrowed brows. "I'm not in contact with her nor do I still like her." You responded defensively.

Cameron only smiled, you didn't know whether to feel calmer or more pissed off with that but then he walked closer. "I know, but I like you." He said, almost innocently.
